31 Days of Magic & Mayhem, ON CHRISTMAS TREE COVE: A BIT OF MAGIC with Sarah Vance-Tompkins #HappyReleaseDay

Happy Release Day Sarah Vance-Tompkins! I'm so very excited to have you as a guest on this magical day! Sarah's giving away an awesome prize, so make sure to scroll down, and comment to enter!

My favorite part about writing this book was building the mystery about a small-town holiday tradition. For as long as Morgan Adair can remember, a lighted Christmas tree has appeared in the harbor of the small town where she lives on Christmas Eve.  The last time anyone remembers the tree appeared was the night her parents died. As she slowly unwraps the mystery behind the floating Christmas tree, Morgan discovers the true meaning of the holiday tradition. What it means to her family and what it means to her future.

On Christmas Tree Cove is a small-town romance about holiday traditions and forever love.

On Christmas Tree Cove

By Sarah Vance-Tompkins

This Christmas calls for a special touch of magic…

December was always a special time for seaplane pilot Morgan Adair, but after losing her parents six years ago, the holiday is a quiet affair. When her siblings announce plans to sell the family home, Morgan longs to experience her favorite, now-forgotten tradition one more time: a lighted tree that, for over a hundred years, has appeared floating on a boat in the harbor every Christmas Eve.

The Taylors were always rivals to the Adairs in the once-thriving fishing village of Christmas Tree Cove, but Jesse Taylor was much more. He wanted to be understanding when Morgan set aside their plans to escape to Chicago in order to hold her family together, but his future as a successful freelance photographer soared on without her.

As Morgan dives deeper into the history of the mysterious holiday appearance, she discovers that true love has always been at the heart of the annual tradition. Can the wonder of Christmas and a few surprises along the way rekindle that love for Morgan and Jesse too?

  3. Congratulations on your new release. I love the sound of this story. One of my traditions with my kids is that every year they get a new ornament to go on the tree they each have in their bedroom. The ornament reflects something they did or liked during the year. It's the first present they receive and it usually shows up under their tree the Friday after the tree is put up.

  6. This story sounds so sweet! Adding it to my TBR to read before Christmas. My favorite family Christmas tradition is sitting around the fire on Christmas Eve, listening to Christmas music, and roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.
