The
lovely and talented Tara
Lain tagged me in the fun Next Big Thing hop that’s happening. Here’s a
sneak peak at my WIP (Work in Progress), and then I’ll refer you to four
author-friends, who’ll post next Wednesday about their projects.
What is the working title
of your book?
Mirabella’s Mardi Gras
Ménage
will be published in February 2013.
Where did the idea come
from for the book?
As
I was finishing up book 3 of The Vampire,
The Witch & The Werewolf: A Threesome Wedding Adventure, I thought book
4 The Wolfe Pack would be the end of
the series. That’s when Mirabella, who is the niece of the Voodoo Queen raised
her hand and demanded she find her love. Yes, ma’am.
What genre does your book
fall under?
Erotic
paranormal, and as the title implies, it’s a ménage. This story, though, is
M/F/F
Which actors would you
choose to play your characters in a movie?
Marguerite
would be played by a redheaded Scarlett Johansson, and Mirabella is more
exotic, such as Zoe Saldana or Megan Good. While Mirabella’s been protected
most of her life, it’s time for her to break out. As for the male character,
maybe someone like Jesse Williams, but I’m not going to share too much there.
An actress like Zoe Saldana would be good for Mirabella. |
When
Mirabella escapes from under the watchful eye of her aunt, the Voodoo Queen of New
Orleans, she discovers a new world of mystery and ménage.
Will your book be self
published or represented by a publisher?
The
book will be published by Ravenous Romance.
How long did it take you to
write the first draft of your manuscript?
I’m
still working on it, but hope to be complete by the end of November.
What other books would you
compare this story to within your genre?
I’ve
noticed that people who read my books also like Carrie Ann Ryan’s Redwood Pack
series, and the Vampire Werewolf Menage by Talyn Scott.
Who or What inspired you to
write this book?
The
characters themselves inspired the book. Sometimes I feel like I’m the conduit
for their stories.
What else about your book
might interest the reader?
I’ve given the
nod to four other worthy authors, who’ll be posting their responses, next Wed. Nov.
28. Check out their Next Big Things.
Thanks so much
for visiting.
Louisa Bacio
Can't wait to read this Louisa!
ReplyDeleteDon't you love it when characters step up and yell "It's my time! Tell my story." You have no recourse but to comply. Love the story idea. ; )
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my friends. Yes, sometimes those characters can be quite loud. For being a "secondary" throughout the series, Mirabella spoke up when it was time!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to get my hands on this one. Love Jesse Williams.
