It’s a Birthday BlogHop!

Tanti auguri a te. Tanti auguri a te. Tanti auguri Carrie Ann. Tanti auguri a te!

For those unfamiliar with it, that's the official Italian birthday song. Birthdays rarely last a day in my family. Instead, we celebrate birthday weekends, and even birthday weeks.

In the first book of my erotic paranormal menage, The Vampire, The Witch & The Werewolf: A New Orleans Threesome, as Lily approaches her 30th birthday, suddenly the world goes a little out of whack. She starts to see things that others don't, and magical powers erupt with her emotions. She travels to New Orleans to enlist the help of the Other-worldly beings, Lawrence, a vampire, and Trevor, a werewolf.

Happy birthday again to our lovely tour hop planner, Carrie Ann Ryan. Remember each author is giving away a prize at their blog. AND we're giving away TWO grand prizes:
  • A Kindle Touch
  • A $60 Amazon or Barnes & Noble Gift Card

On my blog, you'll be entered to win a $10 gift certificate to Ravenous Romance. Yep. You can comment on each blog and enter to win! How great is that? So on April 5th the hop begins and you have until 11:59 p.m. EST on the 6th to participate!

Tell me: What's your best birthday memory? Remember to leave an email address so you can be contacted if you are a winner.

  1. U can't really remember any big birthday memories. My birthday is in January so we always left up the Christmas decorations until after my b-day. No big present memories either probably because of Christmas being so close.

  2. My favorite bday was on my 13th birthday. I had a coed party and we played basketball in the rain and danced outside.
Thanks so much for participating in the hop.
    Happy Birthday Carrie Ann!

  4. Oh no! January birthdays ... my daughter's birthday in Jan. 4. I'll have to remember that!

Rhonda -- that sounds fabulous. I'm sure your mom though, "Oh, no it's raining," and look how memorable it was!

    Savannah -- Awesome indeed!

  5. One of my best birthdays was my 21st birthday when my mother hired a silly stripper to come to my work (it was a very small company and she had approval beforehand). The stripper was a geeked out and "stripped" to more layers of clothes. He probably had 10 layers on. I couldn't believe it.

Thanks for participating in Carrie Anne's birthday celebration!

  6. I remember best (though not the age, probably 6-8) the birthday party my mom held for me at Pizza Hut. I only remember it so well because I LOVED the birthday cake. It had a Barbie in the center, and the cake itself looked like a ball gown. It was a lot of fun.

  7. There was a time my family went on a day long BBQ and picnic. There was lots of eating, swimming, napping and simply taking in the sights - it was a forest park with a lake. It was a wonderful day. Cambonified(at)yahoo(dot)com

    Happy Birthday Carrie Ann
One of my best is when on my 42nd birthday I gave birth to my youngest son, he's #9 and thank goodness my baby is my last. The other best part was one of my girlfriend made me 2 dozen homemade german chocolate cupcakes to share with the staff and visitors, everyone except my dh who didn't give me a gift, he said the baby was his gift...hhhhmmm I'm the one who did all the labor at the end, all I wanted him to bring me was taco bell and he refused so no cupcakes for him.

  24. I really have very few birthday memories, even though I've had 50 bdays! Probably my most vivid was my 36th, which I celebrated 10 days before going into the hospital for a bone marrow transplant for leukemia. It was very low key and I wondered if I would be celebrating any future birthdays. It was kind of surreal!

  25. My best birthday memory was one that my husband took me to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. I thought it was going to be just us, but my parents were already there and so was our son. We had a great time talking and laughing and dining. Then we had ice cream and cake. It was a great surprise.
    Happy Birthday Carrie Ann!

  29. One of my best was from a couple of years ago. My brother, sister, and I, along with their combined 5 kids, just gathered and had pizza and cupcakes on my birthday. We just watched movies, my brother & nephew played video games, and we just goofed off. Fun, goofy nigh!

  32. My best birthday was my 19th. Back then, in Iowa, 19 was the legal drinking age, so my mom and I went out and she bought me my first drink. The rest of the night became a blur as everyone else in the bar supplied my drinks, lol. She'd left at some point and my best friend poured me into her car and took me home. 'Twas a fun night from what I can remember though! :D

Thank you so much for participating in this blog hop and for the amazing giveaway chance! I'm so happy to have found another new to me author!! :D
