*Throwing some beads and confetti*
Welcome to the virtual Fat Tuesday celebration. I can’t help
but share the excitement and goodies.
I’ve put together a fun Mardi Gras goody bag. Use the
Rafflecopter to enter the contest. The winner will be chosen on Thursday, Feb.
19 at 9 p.m. PST.
While most of The
Vampire, The Witch & The Werewolf series is set in New Orleans, the
F/F/M ménage Mirabella’s Mardi Gras
Ménage is set specifically during this time of year – when the magic
happens!
Mirabella’s Mardi Gras Ménage
Constantly under the watchful eye of her Voodoo priestess
aunt, Mirabella longs to break free during the events of Mardi Gras. Escapades
draw her into the arms of Marguerite, a fiery redhead with a passion for life,
and Nick, a familiar vampire who’s haunted by his transformation and past.
What starts as a new experience – a Mardi Gras Ménage – soon
turns deadly, and none of their lives will ever be the same.

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
DeleteLouisa! You know I love your books! I can't wait for the audio! If I could I would definitely go to Mardi Gras. In fact I was just talking to my mom about wanting to go some day.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to read Maribella's story!
Thanks for the support Nikki! I know you'd like this one.
DeleteI would definitely attend Mardi Gras if I could. I've always wanted to go. Can't wait to read this. <3
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit chicken myself Denise. Can I stay on a balcony overlooking the chaos? ;-)
DeleteI so would love to attend Mardi Gras! Um, but only if I can be 28 again!
ReplyDeleteI read a review of The vampire, the witch and the werewolf on juliesbookreview.blogspot.com and have added it to my list. My daughter went to N.O. and has been so enthralled by all things mardi gras, so I will be passing this book to her TBR list. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I would love to go to Mardi Gras and experience all that energy :)
DeleteI would def go :) I think it would be really fun. I would need a baby sitter though lol
ReplyDeleteI would attend Mardi Gras in a different Louisiana city, like Lafayette. New Orleans just gets a bit too wild for me.

In a heartbeat. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend. But I gotta wait until my kids are teenagers or out of the house when me and the hubby get to go. Which I will be close to 40ish I believe lol.
ReplyDeleteI loved NOLA over Samhain and the Day of the Dead, but Bourbon street scared me even then. LOL. I would go back to New Orleans in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure I would go for Mardi Gras. It would definitely be something to experience, but the big ass party just isn't my 'thing'. Especially after 8 people got shot on Bourbon street while I was there, as I was a street over getting a tattoo. :-{
ReplyDeleteI would totally go to Mardi Gras! I have been to Carnevale in Venice three times and I loved it! So fun!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go to NOLA, especially during Mardi Gras. It's still one dream of mine.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure about Mardi Gras cuz of the crowds. I would love to visit New Orleans though.

ReplyDeleteI like to go to the parades in Bay St. Louis and Biloxi, Mississippi. They are a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Mardi Gras..we honeymooned in NO during January 2001.
ReplyDeleteI've been to Mardi Gras, actually. My mother got married in New Orleans 15 years ago just before Mardi Gras and I decided to stay a bit longer.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go, but never had the opportunity to go.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! You were the winner of the contest. A little bit of New Orleans headed your way.
DeleteI have actually have been to Mardi Gras and loved it.. we were post to go this year as NOLA is only 4 hours from me but when we would have had to pull out there was black ice on the roads.
ReplyDeleteI would love to go. It is on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteThe hubby is 6'4" and about 240 pounds of muscle. When he was in the military, they went to New Orleans often. He said during Mardi Gras, he was literally picked up off his feet by the surging crowd!
DeleteYikes!
I have been many times. I lived in Nawlins...am in Baton Rouge now.
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt I would enjoy Mardi Gras. I'm an introvert and I hate crowds, especially crowds of loud obnoxious people. I'd love to see the parade, though, so...
ReplyDeleteIf I could get over my fear of Big City... yep, I sure would! (a true rural country girl, here.... lol)
ReplyDeleteKatie D.
I am dying to see mardi gras
ReplyDeleteLouisa, I nearly missed your goody bag giveaway! Let me tell you, everyone, a goody bag from Louisa is something special!
ReplyDeleteAs to your question, I probably wouldn't go to Mardi Gras (assuming you mean in New Orleans). I'd be the one curling up at home with a good book, crocheting, and maybe a few new wooden spoons. Then I'd read some articles and watch youtube videos about all the fun. :D
Can't say happy Fat Tuesday as it's now Thursday and we're supposed to be repenting, but happy belated Mardi Gras. :D
I gotta enter for two reasons...first, love spices and any from New Orleans would be great and second, because Ana told us not to so that she can win. *snicker* LOL
ReplyDeleteHugs and Blessings...

ReplyDeleteI would love to attend Mardi Gras, but only if I could stand on the second floor balcony of my room and watch the craziness below, or if I got to be on a krew float. Ana told us not to comment, so we had to :)
ReplyDeleteI've been to NOLA but haven't been there for the Mardi Gras celebrations. Thanks for coming to my blog today, too, Louisa. :)
ReplyDeleteI would if I didn't have any kids😕
ReplyDeleteI would love to go to Mardi Gras. Sadly I haven't been anywhere south of North Carolina.
