Hump Day Jams

Guess what day it is?
I was listening to the Raw Dog Comedy channel last week, and they were riffing on Hump Day Jams. What song was your parents getting busy to when you were conceived? Wanna play?

You take your birth date and add three months (easier than counting backward). Then figure out the year before (or earlier in the year …). Let’s look at mine as an example: October 12, 1970 (yep – my birthday is right around the corner). Three months ahead is January, and then the year would be 1970.

Now it’s time to hit the charts. Tune Caster has records of the top songs that go way back. Here’s a link to the January 10, 1970 page:

#1 song? “Rain Drops Keep Falling on my Head” by B.J. Thomas. Oh no! Not very sexy, and something I REALLY don’t want to think about! If you scroll down to #10, though, there’s “Baby Take Me In Your Arms” by Jefferson. Since my father worked in a music store, I’m thinking he’d be more up on his musical tastes. Yeah, so that’s what I’m telling myself.

So what about you? What was your Hump Day Jam?

Here’s a look at a new release!

Long Haul

Between California and Arizona, there’s a sweet patch of highway that encourages a man’s mind to
wander. Randy’s mind always ends up in the same place—traveling the smooth planes of Sallie Mae’s tanned legs and following the line of sweat that snakes down her neck and disappears between her breasts. It’s all too easy to imagine her naked in the seat beside him, flirting, stroking, even straddling his legs and daring him to find a better way to go than at eighty miles an hour with a hot blonde in his lap. The fantasy alone makes concentrating on the road a struggle. He doesn’t have a clue how he’s going to manage to drive Sallie Mae home from college while keeping his mind on the road and his hands to himself. Especially with Sallie Mae all too willing to flirt, stroke and blow the lid right off his fantasy.

Available now via Ellora’s Cave, Amazon, All Romance eBooks and coming soon to other eRetailers!

Open Sesame Cover Reveal

What a week this will be! This weekend, we're celebrating the OCC/RWA Birthday Bash ... and it's my birthday! Not only that, but I've got TWO new releases coming out, and I couldn't be more excited.

I've been waiting for the erotic threesome short Open Sesame to come out for two years ... a little of this, and a bit of that, and finally it's been released solo.

Here's a sneak peek -- cover and blurb!

Open Sesame

A modern-day retelling of the classic tale, Ali Baba could have her choice of 40 thieves, but only wants two. Alison Baba is tired of waiting around for the guy she’s interested in to make the first move. A staggering hulk of muscle, Dragan acts as the enforcer of Ali’s departed father’s motorcycle gang. If she can’t tempt Dragan into her bed, she’ll trick him.

Dragan’s convinced he needs to protect Ali from any potential harm, and that includes himself. Ali pushes the experience too far when she invites in Taj, a known thief within the tribe. It’ll take one long Arabian night, and a whole lot of sex-play, to convince these two men that she’s worth her weight in jewels, and their threesome can outlast 1,001 nights.

Coming Friday from Ravenous Romance

Plus, just in time to help Decadent Publishing celebrate 1Night Stand month, and the 200th release -- A Dance with Death. Stay tuned for more information.

Are you ready to celebrate with me?

My Sexy Saturday on a Long Haul

Welcome to my exploration into My Sexy Saturday. Today I'm featuring seven sentences from Long Haul. The game? Well, how about doing the naughty while driving!

She leaned over the seat to toss her duffle bag in the back. He glimpsed creamy thigh, the curve of her ass and a flash of a hot-pink thong. She bounced back onto her seat and snapped in her seatbelt.
“Thanks for picking me up and giving me a ride.” She stretched to give him a kiss on the cheek.
Where her lips touched, his skin pulsed with a different awareness, making him think of those late-night jerk-offs and he resisted the urge to wipe the spot.
  “No problem."

New Release: Long Haul

How do you like your erotic romance? I’ve got something new for readers – Long Haul, an Ellora’s Cave For Him “Quickie.” It’s the first in a new series for me … interludes on the road. What’s quick? It’s about 7,000 words and sizzling. And, did I mention: Written from a male point of view.
