Heatin’ Up the Summer with a Hop

A chill wind blows, and the “June Gloom” kicks in full force. Living in Southern California near the ocean in the summer doesn’t always mean hot weather.

Usually, by the afternoon – around 3 p.m. – things start heating up. I’m a warm weather gal, and love that feeling of sitting by the window, collecting the warmth, or sliding into a closed car and getting all toasty (not the burning the buns on the hot seats, though!)
