Guess what day it is? |
You take your
birth date and add three months (easier than counting backward). Then figure
out the year before (or earlier in the year …). Let’s look at mine as an
example: October 12, 1970 (yep – my birthday is right around the
corner). Three months ahead is January, and then the year would be 1970.
Now it’s time to
hit the charts. Tune Caster has records of the top songs that go way back.
Here’s a link to the January 10, 1970 page:
#1 song? “Rain
Drops Keep Falling on my Head” by B.J. Thomas. Oh no! Not very sexy, and
something I REALLY don’t want to think about! If you scroll down to #10,
though, there’s “Baby Take Me In Your Arms” by Jefferson. Since my father
worked in a music store, I’m thinking he’d be more up on his musical tastes.
Yeah, so that’s what I’m telling myself.
So what about you? What was your Hump Day
Jam?
Here’s a look at
a new release!
Long Haul
Between
California and Arizona, there’s a sweet patch of highway that encourages a
man’s mind to
wander. Randy’s mind always ends up in the same place—traveling the smooth planes of Sallie Mae’s tanned legs and following the line of sweat that snakes down her neck and disappears between her breasts. It’s all too easy to imagine her naked in the seat beside him, flirting, stroking, even straddling his legs and daring him to find a better way to go than at eighty miles an hour with a hot blonde in his lap. The fantasy alone makes concentrating on the road a struggle. He doesn’t have a clue how he’s going to manage to drive Sallie Mae home from college while keeping his mind on the road and his hands to himself. Especially with Sallie Mae all too willing to flirt, stroke and blow the lid right off his fantasy.
