What a fun idea
for a hop! Start off the New Year by getting to know some new writers/bloggers.
- I am a Kindle Unlimited junkie and like to troll for taboo stories.
- I collect POP! characters, and am waiting for the line to come out with Draco.
- I judge my own stories by if it turns me on while writing it.
- The tips of my nails are currently tinged turquoise because of the recent hair dye.
- Although I have no tattoos, I think about what I’d like to get.
- Currently, we have thunder so loud in Southern California that the house shakes when it rumbles.
- I’m currently on a historical reading kick – although I don’t write it.
- I better post before losing power …

I love this
ReplyDeleteAwww. Thanks Diana.
DeleteI really liked #2. I love the figures, but have none of my own yet.
ReplyDeleteThey are addicting. Every time I think, "I don't need anymore," then I see another must-have!
DeleteNumber 6 makes me smile. In my part of the country, thunder frequently rattles the house and china in the hutch when the storm is close. It's common during summer thunderstorms, but is becoming more common in winter. Then, it's called "thundersnow."
ReplyDelete"Thundersnow!" Great term. I'm trying to think what they called a gust of wind here yesterday. Rather than a tornado, it was like a "gustnado." And that was an official weather person.
DeleteThe first one because of the word taboo, always a guarantee to get my attention.
ReplyDeleteI came across these Monster ones the other day *big eyes!*
DeleteI hear you about the Thunder storms. Im in Phoenix and we have been getting the storm from Southern California. We need the rain but i miss the sunshine.
ReplyDeleteI like the comment about the tattoos, because I'm thinking about getting one too.
ReplyDeleteFact #1 interests me because I just got a Kindle but don't know how to get going on it! I still like to read books!
ReplyDeleteOops just in case: lindaherold999@gmail.com Sorry!
ReplyDeleteI think about what tattoo I would like to get also! And, I don't have a single tattoo.

#2... I know right!!! :D
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance!

#5 I've been thinking a lot about which tattoo I would get. I'm just so scared of the pain!
ReplyDelete"I collect POP! characters, and am waiting for the line to come out with Draco."
ReplyDeleteMe too! I have about 30 of them.

I can totally relate to #5! I think about my imaginary tattoos too! ;)
ReplyDeletevandango33 at gmail dot com
Definitely #4. I get my hair dyed fun colors and know exactly how it feels to walk around with matching fingernail tips.
ReplyDeletecorozondemono at gmail dot com.
#2, I collect POP figures too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!

Tatts! I don't have any either but I'd like to get one too :)
ReplyDeletepuffangel87@yahoo.com
I am a tattoo fiend, so of course your fact about tattoos caught my eye. :-) I have 12, but I have a lot of friends who are still considering their first. I hope you post photos on your blog if you do decide to get one. :-)

That you collect POP characters, I just started this Christmas with the Peanuts characters.
ReplyDelete#5 - I also think about tattoos. I have an agreement with the hubby that I will not get one unless I have wanted the same thing in the same place for 10 years. They are permanent after all.
ReplyDelete#'s 6&8 - I too live in SoCal. We just had a huge storm that started Wednesday (Jan 6) and left more than half the town without power until today (Jan 10).

I like the one about readin historicals because that is my favorite genre.
ReplyDeletejeanna_massman@hotmail.com
#5 - what would you get?
ReplyDeletebn100candg at hotmail dot com
I found number 5 the most interesting because I do not have any tattoos either but often think about what I would get if I weren't a big chicken.
ReplyDeleteI love fact #2 because I'm really obsessed with Funko too!
ReplyDeletetalkingmomcents(at)hotmail(dot)com
I loved that your nails are tinged turquoise because of a recent hair dye job, that's awesome, carawling(at)hotmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteDefinitely that you don't have tattoos! I have 8!
ReplyDeletestheissen1990@yahoo.com
#2 because me too! They're so fun and cute.
ReplyDeleteEmail: Josy15love@gmail.com
The one about your nails, because it makes me wonder what color(s) you dyed your hair. jmcgaugh (at) semo (dot) edu
ReplyDelete#6 Thunder in Southern California is unusual, isn't it? I lived in the Bay Area for 10 years and don't remember any severe storms.
ReplyDeletebhometchko(at)hotmail(dot)com
So rare, the 9-year-old asked, "What was that?" and the 13-year-old replied "lightning." ;-)
Delete6 got my attention because one of my characters (in a story I'm writing) lives in Southern California and is scared of the wind.

Oooh, interesting!
Delete#3!! I have only ever died my hair a more vibrant red. (When my natural red just isn't cutting it for me) I always wanted to do more, but I have a complete redhead complexion and I don't think I could pull it off. Plus turquoise is my favorite color!! Thanks for the chance and the tidbits!
ReplyDeleteTanyamarieward(at)hotmail(dot)com
I better post before losing power---are you getting heavy snow or rain like we are?
ReplyDeleteashley_helander(at)yahoo(dot)com
Our big El Nino-enhanced storms were last week Ashley, but it'll be back! Stay safe.
DeleteI liked the factoid that of thunder so loud in Southern California that the house shakes when it rumbles. I love weather facts.
ReplyDeleteversatileer(at)gmail(dot)com
I would love to tip my nails with turquoise, and my hair. I bet that it's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteKathy -- You're the official winner here, but you didn't leave an email address. Please contact me and let me know so we can arrange sending it out!
DeleteMy daughter just got big into asking for Pop! figures this past year for Christmas! lshumack at gmail dot com
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I'm going to message you on FB. :)
