Entangled Publishing Launch & Rosalie Lario's Blood of the Demon

What an exciting day -- the long-anticipated launch of Entangled Publishing. We've been lucky enough to score a visit with Rosalie Lario, who's here to talk about her paranormal thriller Blood of the Demon.

I’d like to thank Louisa for letting me take over her site. I promise I’ll behave. *wink*

Blood of the Demon
Rosalie Lario
Today I’m here to talk about my brand-spanking new release, Blood of the Demon. I’m a huge fan of both the paranormal and of ancient mythology (in fact, as an undergraduate student I double majored in Anthropology and Classical Studies). So when I first dreamt up the concept for my DEMONS OF INFERNUM series, I knew my world would have to feature some ancient mythology.

In Blood of the Demon, Book 1 of the DEMONS OF INFERNUM series, my hero Keegan is a half-demon who works as an inter-dimensional bounty hunter. He’s tracking an evil demon, Mammon, who also happens to be his father. Mammon has designs on the Book of the Dead, an ancient Egyptian spellbook allowing for the creation of an army of the undead. With it he plans to bring on the apocalypse on Earth, and eventually take over all of the other dimensions.

Enter Brynn Meyers. She has no idea that her psychometric powers or her ability to drain people of their life force point to a demon ancestry. She’s also the key to the zombie resurrection spell, which makes her very dangerous indeed.

Keegan must protect Brynn from his father by any means necessary. But he’ll have to learn to harness the other half of his genetics—the far deadlier, uncontrollable half—when he starts to fall for the one woman he may be ordered to destroy.

Blood of the Demon features my favorite kind of storyline: danger, steamy romance, and characters having to work their way around impossible situations. What are your favorite kinds of stories?

About Rosalie
Rosalie Lario

Rosalie Lario practiced law for five years before finally admitting to herself that negotiating contracts wasn’t nearly as fun as dreaming up stories. The first book in her Demons of Infernum series, Blood of the Demon is now available.

Thanks so much for the cyber-visit Rosalie! I'm currently entrenched within your novel -- so good it keeps distracting me from real work -- and a review should be coming soon. Look forward to reading much more from you!
