Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Every Fourth of July, we have a tradition of heading down to the beach cities, lazing on the sand and drinking margaritas. When it comes to romance, there’s nothing better than getting a slight buzz, cuddling up with your loved one – strong arms wrapped around one’s body tight – and watching the explosion of fireworks light up the sky.

Daydrmzz and Laura -- thank you both for stopping by! Staying cool is definitely a rule, but hoping for a bit of heat today. Yesterday was supposed to be 89 near the beach, but it was overcast and downright chilly!

ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate on the 4th in Canada, but we celebrate Canada Day on July 1st! We typically get together at my parents' house with my siblings and their families for a BBQ. A chance to enjoy good food and for our kids to play with their cousins!

Normally we have a great big cul-de-sac BBQ, including family members from nearby as well; as we are the only ones with a pool, everyone makes it to our backyard! This year was overcast and the kids were out of state, so we decided to movie-marathon it instead :-) We still BBQ'd hot dogs, though!

I'm not a big "fireworks" lover. So I am usually inside listening. I love the sound of them. Sounds like thunder. Truthfully, it's way too hot here to be hanging out outside with all the bugs. I sound like a whiney little girl don't I? *Sigh*
