What makes you happy?

My teenage daughter texts me to say hello during her lunch almost every day. The joy of watching my 9-year-old dance. The smile of our adorable corgi.

Sept. 5-11 marks Suicide Prevention Week. Unfortunately, I’ve known many people who’ve been affected by suicide.  Rather than touch upon the hardships and sadness, I’d like to focus on the positive.

To support awareness, I’m giving away a “My Story Isn’t Over Yet” semi-colon bracelet. Shipping is within the U.S., and winner will be chosen on Monday, Sept. 12.

Tell me, what’s one thing that makes you happy? All you need is one!

Have a wonderful weekend!

    1. It depends on the day and mood. Phantom was the first big touring show I saw (at age 16), so it has a special place in my heart. The Music Man is probably my favorite movie musical that I grew up with. White Christmas is mandatory viewing every December. OBC recordings of Wicked, Evita, Spring Awakening, Cabaret, Avenue Q, Les Miserables, A Chorus Line, and Chicago get played pretty frequently, too.
