A Naughty 'Nightmare' Basket

Are you naughty or nice? What a question to solicit hoppers! Thank you to Safari Heat Book Tours for setting up this hop.

We're being a bit naughty here.

My family enjoys all the traditional holiday shows such as Frosty the Snowman (and you can't forget his girlfriend Crystal), and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Then there's the weirdly named The Year Without Santa Claus with the rockin' Heat Miser!

Heat Miser
Our favorite show has to be The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack gets a bit naughty when he Santa-naps the big man in the red suit! To celebrate, I'm giving away a Nightmare-themed basket. Yep, that's Halloween candy you see in there, along with a Jack and Sally car magnet.

To enter, leave a comment on your favorite holiday movie & your email address.

Hop Grand Prize: Kindle Fire HDX 7”. Plus books to go on the winner’s new Kindle. Mailed prizes are limited to U.S., and Canada only. eBooks are international. Please make sure to leave an email address in order to enter.

There are four ways readers can get extra entries into the grand prize giveaway: Leaving a comment, following my blog, following on FB, or Twitter.

  7. I love Jack! And my son just had me buy the Miser Brothers Christmas yesterday! He said he loved the old Christmas movies. So cute, he's only 5! You have totally put me in the spirit to stop listening to Christmas music and start watching Christmas movies :)

Comment: Oh it's so hard to pick a favorite Christmas movie! All the old classic animated ones are brilliant and I could certainly watch them over and over during the holidays! I love them as well. There is one oldie that I really love and don't get to see anymore and haven't seen for years. I absolutely love Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas. I love that one so much. It's really fun when you run around singing "Theirs a holeee in the Washtubbbb" at people and they have no idea what you are doing and wonder about your Christmas time sanity. I also really enjoy watching the musical version of A Christmas Carol and also A Muppet's Christmas Carol. I think I could go on forever here. Nightmare Before Christmas is also amazing. I love how you can start watching that at Halloween and just keep on watching strait through Christmas :D I'll stop rambling on here (though I think I could seriously just keep right on going). Merry Christmas one and all. May it be merry and delightful for you and yours :D

I love The Nightmare Before Christmas! My favorite Christmas movie is A Christmas Story where the kid wants the Rid Ryder BB gun. Remember the famous line, "You'll shoot your eye out!" Ha! I've seen that movie probably 30 times or more; I'll watch it over and over, I do not know why I like it so much except that it teaches us that the things we think are so important aren't really (and once you get them, they might just turn around and bite you in the ass).
